Three poignant snapshots of the problems faced by women in Eastern societies. There is Hava on the day she turns 9, the end of childhood according to Islamic law; beginning at noon, she must cloak herself in a chador. Ahoo, an unhappy young wife who tries literally to outrun her fate in a women's bicycle race by the seashore, and Hora, an elderly woman who has come into a large inheritance. She journeys into the city where she methodically purchases a household full of appliances and luxury items.
